U4U Proudly Presents its 1st Ambassador Scholarship Award to Connor Potterton
Connor traveled to Alenga and Gomi, Uganda in June, 2025, where he visited schools, addressed the students, faculty and community emphasizing the importance of working hard and staying in school. While in the village, Connor also built desks for the children.
Grace Watson, Ambassador for U4Uganda since she was in 7th-grade, speaks to students in Alenga. Her hope is to teach in Alenga one day.

U4Uganda would not be what it is today if it were not for the support of our youth ambassadors. These students from all over the Chicago-land area, and beyond have dedicated their time and efforts to aid the children and people of Alenga.
